Blockchain Campus Conference 2025 Highlights the Country’s Growing Momentum in Web3, AI, and Digital Innovation
Cavite State University became one of the country’s most vibrant Web3 hubs this year as the Blockchain Campus Conference 2025 gathered almost 2,000 students, builders, and industry leaders on November 15, 2025. Despite heavy rain, attendees from across Luzon traveled to Cavite—showing the rapidly growing demand for blockchain learning in the Philippines.
The full-day conference featured keynotes, panels, esports tournaments, live demos, and cosplay showcases, creating a unique mix of technical learning, creativity, and community energy.
Program Highlights
The event opened with remarks from Mr. Jay Consejo, Head of BCC, followed by a video message from Senator Bam Aquino, who emphasized blockchain’s role in improved accountability, transparency, and good governance.
DICT’s John Philip Tan led the Innovation Talk, while PC Express kept the energy high with its crowd-favorite Piso Auction.
Keynote speakers included:
- Ann Cuisia, CEO of TraXion Tech Inc. — Explained major updates to the CADENA Bill.
- Richard Prodigalidad, CEO of StartupLabs PH — Encouraged students not to waste this rare moment in technological history.
- Eli Becislao, Country Manager of Base Philippines — Presented Base’s student programs and builder initiatives.
- Fred King, Founder of CryptoSnake — Shared practical ways to stay protected against the Q-Day.
- John Sedano, New Prontera — Introduced the Bagyo App, a blockchain-based disaster resilience tool.
- Sam Silver, COO & Co-founder of Ripe — Gave a live demo showing how their technology enhances real-world workflows.
- Jerome Matti, PC Express — Delivered the Nvidia RTX AI Tech Update, resonating strongly with developers, creatives, and AI-driven builders.
Panel Discussions
Two panel discussions brought both industry depth and student-driven innovation to the stage.
The first panel, moderated by Eli Becislao, featured John Sedano, New Prontera, and Sam Silver, COO and Co-founder of Ripe, who shared insights on building sustainable Web3 products, community-driven adoption, and practical development lessons from the field.
The second panel highlighted emerging talent and featured Aaron Sopeña, Cavite State University; Shaina Dolorosa, Co-Founder of Wildstrikes / PUP QC alumna; Sherwin Limosnero, President, UPHSL Game Developers Club; Tristan Triñanes, Blockchain Developer, Cavite State University; and Carl Bergado, Co-Founder, Wildstrikes / Student, PUP QC.
Their discussion emphasized how student innovators are shaping the future of blockchain development in the Philippines.
Esports and Cosplay
Esports competitions filled the venue with excitement, as teams battled across Mobile Legends, Valorant, Vi 3v3 Arena, and Andrometa. The cosplay segment added color, creativity, and energy—giving participants another platform to shine.
