Bugbugan sa PC Worth Showcases the First Filipino-Made Esports Game, Vi 3V3
Quezon City, Philippines – October 25, 2025 – PC Worth Experience, in partnership with Gridlock Games, brought the gaming community together for Bugbugan sa PC Worth, a 3v3 esports tournament that highlighted Vi 3V3 Arena — the first Filipino-developed competitive arena game.
Held at PC Worth Experience, located at 7 J.P. Rizal St., Corner Malong, Project 4, Quezon City, the event featured intense matches, community excitement, and support from major gaming brands. Gigabyte, ASRock, MSI, and ViewSonic joined as sponsors, backing this milestone for the local gaming scene.
Developed by Gridlock Games, Vi 3V3 Arena is a fast-paced action arena brawler that blends melee combat, magic, and movement-based gameplay in 3v3 team battles. Designed and built by Filipino developers, the game aims to showcase local talent and innovation in the growing esports ecosystem.
A total of 26 teams registered online, with 12 teams competing onsite before a crowd of over 50 attendees. The tournament started at 2:00 PM and ran until 7:00 PM, filled with giveaways such as shirts, mousepads, gaming gear, and headsets. Attendees also enjoyed free drinks from the PC Worth Café, adding to the event’s vibrant and social atmosphere.
After a series of heated matches, oVirus emerged as champion, winning three Gigabyte RTX 3050 GPUs. ACND claimed second place, taking home three 24-inch 240Hz ViewSonic monitors, while Gamer’s Guild secured third place, earning Redragon gaming mice and keyboards.
Among the players were nine members of Web3 Camanava’s Gamer’s Guild, who delivered strong performances that carried them to the semifinals before being eliminated by oVirus.
The event also received support from the Department of Science and Technology (DOST), whose officers stayed until the end — a strong sign of institutional support for local gaming and tech innovation.
The success of Bugbugan sa PC Worth not only celebrated Filipino creativity and esports passion but also marked another step toward a thriving local gaming community.
